The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is one of the largest mutual support self-help bereavement organisations in the world. Our members understand the true pain that comes with the death of a son, daughter, brother, sister or grandchild, and this understanding comes from their own lived experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The primary purpose of The Compassionate Friends is to assist bereaved families in the rebuilding of their lives after the death of their child, and to support their efforts to achieve emotional and mental health.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We reach out to parents, siblings and grandparents to offer friendship and to support them in their grief and trauma, following the death of a child at any age and from any cause.<\/p>\n

TCF has no religious affiliation and offers support to bereaved families irrespective of ethnic, social or political background.<\/p>\n
